JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 1 years +
HOURS: 9am - 5pm Mon to Fri
Our client is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of cleaning products, including cleaning cloths, impregnated wipes, flow packs and trigger spray chemicals.
This role is to assist the Accounts Manager by overseeing daily tasks in relation to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
*Overseeing the sales ledger and credit control on customer accounts.
*Dealing with the management of sales invoices and customer rebates.
*Issuing customer statements, receiving payments by various means and reconciling their accounts.
*Handling customer queries, managing disputed invoices.
*Setting up new customers, credit checks - sending out trade reference enquiries, manage credit lines.
*Reconciling Company bank accounts.
*Producing turnover figures and reports from accounting system Sage Line 50.
*Supporting the Accounts Manager and the office by answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries and sharing information regarding payments and customers/suppliers.
Our client is looking for applicants with the following experience:
*Previous experience in an accounts department
*Knowledge of MS Excel Word, Sage Line 50
