Experience required:

* At least Masters level (or equivalent) qualification in a subject such as maths / statistics / data science
* Experience in a consulting or financial services firm
* An interest in coding and use of software to solve problems
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity
* Good interpersonal skills and evidence of constructive teamwork
* Enjoy training/mentoring more junior staff
* Good theoretical and / or practical knowledge of major types of machine learning and predictive analytics
* Working knowledge of Python and R is beneficial
* Actuarial experience / studying actuarial exams is desirable

As a Life Insurance Actuary with skills in advanced mathematical techniques, we are looking for someone who is technically strong, and wanting to use their mathematical skills to their full ability and would like to employ these more widely.

This is a client facing role where you'll be supporting life consulting projects for clients. You will be providing advice on the practical use of advanced mathematical techniques across life insurance using technical skills to develop solutions and contribute to the development of the company's intellectual capital, in particular in the areas of data analytics, machine learning and capital modelling.
