Assistant Software Support Manager required by a market leading tech company in the sports and entertainment industries Delivering an advanced platform covering – access, loyalty, payments, & sponsor engagement, Our client continuously innovates and shapes the future of Sports.
Key job responsibilities
o Technical incident management (call logging, troubleshooting, escalation)
o Product support and maintenance (hardware and software) primarily through remote access
o PC and server software installations, configuration and testing of bespoke software
o End user training
o Documenting critical and routine procedures as well as end user literature
o Contact and liaise with clients where necessary to help with technical issues
o Ability to assist managing the support team
Essential skills required
o Comfortable in using T-SQL
o Good understanding of networking principles and Microsoft server and desktop environments
o Relevant MCP, MCSA or MCSE qualifications are an advantage
o Five year experience providing either application or service desk support
o Ability to create documents.
