Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading pensions consultancy in their search for an Associate Partner to join their growing Pensions Covenant team.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing covenant advice to trustees and sponsors on covenant strength, the impact and regulatory consequences of corporate activity, and the implications for the pension scheme's strategy. You will provide integrated and comprehensive solutions to ensure the financial strength of a sponsor and how much investment risk a pension scheme can absorb.

Role requirements:

* Experience of working and advising on a range of employer covenant matters
* Familiarity with current issues facing defined benefit pension schemes
* Experience of developing existing client relationships, growing existing mandates and winning new business

You will have the opportunity to help build and develop a covenant practice that is fit for the latest challenges faced by pension schemes and their sponsors.
