BDM/Sales Executive - Steel Blades

The COMPANY

Our client is recognised as one of the World's premier manufacturer of steel bandsaw blades for use in a wide variety of industries including metal, woodwork, meat and fish. For over 40 years, using top quality Scandinavian steel, they have been making and stocking steel saw blades in Britain - earning themselves a deserved reputation for both the quality of their products and service.

The ROLE
Due to a planned expansion they now require an External Field Sales Executive to sell and promote their steel bandsaw blades, specifically into the vertical markets of metalwork/engineering and woodwork within the UK. Working from home the right candidate will take strategic responsibility for building profitable business within these markets.

The CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for a talented External Field Sales Executive with the drive and enthusiasm to successfully secure and nurture new business within the metalwork/woodwork sectors. You possess the following skill set;

*Experience within a similar industry
*Knowledge of steel and/or saw blades
*Good understanding of the sales process
*Appreciation of journey planning
*Strong work ethic and positive outlook
*Good admin skill set
*Confident with excellent Communication Skills

Allied to the desire and ability to forge a career within a market leading organisation.

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 - depending on experience + £450pm car allowance
