Role: Business Development Executive
Hours: Part Time, Permanent - 20hrs to 30hrs flexible (3 positions)
Salary: £20k-£24k pro rata, with generous commission structure
Location: Office based (Towcester) / flexible
This role requires the applicant to own car and hold a full clean driving licence.

Our client, SME National Awards, are an exciting division of Events and PR, a company with a bright, forward-thinking and creative team. With many years of experience, the team of experts create events which celebrate and facilitate success in business. Their speciality is Business Awards and they are proud to deliver a diverse range of awards nationwide which recognise the audacious entrepreneurs and business people working across all sectors.

This role is to develop one of our national awards including: National Business Women's Awards, National Building & Construction Awards or the local licences for the SME National Business Awards. All the awards events take place at prestigious venues including Wembley Stadium, and you will be joining a small, dedicated team, keen to develop our top-rated awards.

To expand operations, we are looking for ambitious Business Development Executives to support our fast-growing National and Local awards.

The Role:
The role will be a combination of new business and key account management/growth. Clients will be from across a wide range of B2B's.

Key skills and competencies:
*Min. of 2+ years partnership/sponsorship sales experience, media sales or similar
*Have a proven track record in B2B sales
*Confident, articulate and professional
*Used to selling to C level individuals
*Cold call and generate new leads and enquiries
*Effectively manage your own sales pipeline to be successful
*Understand all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set out on a monthly basis
*Convert a targeted percentage of all outbound telephone calls to appointment and subsequent appointments to new opportunities
*Well trained in sales and sales process
*Stable career history
*Must own car and hold a full clean driving licence
