Buyers Administration Assistant
£19,000 - £22,000 per annum
We are a successful Essex based Fashion Design Company designing and supplying fashion apparel and accessories to a large number of well-known high street brands including Urban Outfitters, Pretty Little Thing, Warehouse, Moss Bros, River Island, TK Maxx and many more.
Established in 2007. We specialise in the design, sourcing and importing of men's, women's & children's fashion clothing and accessories. The company was structured with the intention of providing a total package for our customers, from the initial design concept to the final shipment of goods.
The company is situated in Great Dunmow which is very convenient for access to London, Stansted Airport and the M11.
Role Overview, Job Description and Person Specification:
We are looking for a proactive and positive new team member, who can bring excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep our clients accounts running smoothly.
The main duties involve:
Placing purchase orders.
Liaising with both customers and suppliers.
Maintaining critical paths for new developments and bulk production.
Organising shipment bookings.
Managing the intake and distribution of new sampling.
Providing ad hoc admin support to the buying team.
The perfect candidate will:
Have excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Good attention to detail.
The ability to multi-task.
Be a team player with good communication skills.
Have a positive attitude with a can-do approach.
Good organizational skills.
Sage experience desirable but not essential.
An exciting opportunity to join our small creative team within the fashion industry.
Training can be supplied to the right candidate who is keen to learn so previous experience is desirable but not essential.
This is a full time position, Monday – Friday 9am -5.30pm with an hour for lunch.
