Calibration Engineer required for a very successful and growing laboratory. This is a great opportunity to join a stable employer where you will work on a variety of equipment.
The successful Calibration Engineer will be an experienced Calibration Engineer from any industry as full training will be provided on the specific machinery. You will hold an engineering qualification, ideally mechanical and have experience of working in a lab based environment. However candidates from a quality, manufacturing or engineering environment who have experience with calibration are also encouraged to apply.
The Calibration Engineer role will be to calibrate a variety of equipment including mechanical measuring equipment and production gauges to company procedures. You will service, repair and calibrate equipment adhering to company health & safety procedures and industry standards. You will also be expected to check fixtures, tooling and record results in line with ISO 9001:2015 & UKAS standards. The role will also include some stay away when required (5-6 nights a month on average).
