Job Purpose:

The Centre Principal (CP) is responsible for the overall management of the centre and is ultimately accountable for performance in all areas including, but not limited to, people, operations, car count, profit, sales, and administrative duties.

The Centre Principal is also expected to spend time within service bays with their centre team, training, motivating & assisting when required. Similarly, in the absence of the required number of employees the CP may be required to perform any centre operation including MOT testing, Fast Fit repairs, or service crew duties. You will ensure that at all times the highest level of customer service is maintained both personally and from your team. You will be required to continually promote the N‘n’OUT Autocentres Ltd ethos, offers and platinum card sales.



  • To proactively achieve and/or exceed sales targets and operating budgets within your allocated centre
  • Along with appropriate Accountancy support, to be primarily accountable for P&L within your allocated centre
  • To assist with the drive of quality & consistency of customer service and retention performance
  • To ensure transaction and customer satisfaction targets are achieved
  • To effectively manage people, time and resources to build strong recognition and reputation for IN‘n’OUT
  • Responsible for the delivery of the IN‘n’OUT experience to each and every customer, or visitor within the centre
  • Responsible for staff numbers and placement/deployment of crew, to ensure competence, efficiency, speed and ultimately customer satisfaction
  • Involvement in store development and car count, including PR and marketing
  • To perform all open & close processes
  • To create weekly schedules/rotas
  • To complete all banking procedures
  • To follow and promote all company health and safety policies
  • To regularly train and support both new and existing employees
  • To assist with the recruitment of new employees and identify promotional opportunities where required
  • To assist with any investigatory or disciplinary matters
  • To conduct crew meetings including daily sales updates and expectations
  • To complete, or assist with all daily, weekly & monthly accounting processes
  • To complete monthly inventory processes
  • To assist with the order and management of stock
  • To manage and assist with customer complaints
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager
