Clerk of Works

On behalf of a multidisciplined consultancy practice based in West London, a knowledgeable Clerk of Works is now needed to work on various projects within the Residential, Commercial and Education sectors.

The successful Clerk of Works will be working in the London office, with offices in Southampton and Bristol also.

The Clerk of Works

The hiring manager is keen to talk to a Clerk of Works with;

* Relevant qualifications
* Residential / Social housing experience
* Excellent eye for detail
* Technically astute
* Inspection experience

The role

* Manage numerous projects simultaneously for a varied client base
* Regular site inspections to monitor progression and quality of work
* Administer building contract in relation to time, payments, notification, and practical completion procedures
* Organise, participate, and record regular progress meetings
* Prepare building contracts
* Administration of site reports
* Agree project key performance indicators
* Post completion project inspections, reviews, and feedback
* Monitor post completion snagging and take action to resolve any issues
