Job Title: Cloud Database Engineer - Oracle

Join a company driving digital transformation in the finance and insurance industry. As a Cloud Database Engineer, you'll help develop cutting-edge cloud solutions within our Database Competence Center, focusing on modern, scalable, automated, and secure database architectures.

Your Responsibilities

* Develop and enhance the Managed Database Service Portfolio
* Ensure operation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of Oracle databases
* Drive improvements through scripting, standardization, and automation
* Advise and support customers on database services
* Participate in on-call operations

Your Profile

* Completed vocational training as a computer scientist EFZ or similar qualification
* Strong Linux knowledge, shell programming, and experience with Ansible (advantageous)
* Experience with Oracle multitenant architecture and ASM
* Familiar with Enterprise Manager Cloud Control is a plus
* Fluent in German and proficient in English



This position is hybrid-working based in Zurich or Bern.
