CNC Machinist (Milling)

£26,000 to £30,000 DOE + Optional Overtime Paid at Premium rate 1.5x + 20 Days Holiday increasing with service yearly, capped at 25 days + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training and Development Opportunities.

40 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday, 7.15am to 4.30pm.
Friday early Finish: 12.15pm.

CNC Machinist required for privately owned manufacturer who invest into their business and employees. This is a role with great scope for personal development including programming training.

The Successful CNC Machinist will have competent experience of Milling or Turning, although milling is preferred. You will have experience of setting machines. Programming experience is not required as training can be provided, but any experience would be advantageous. Any experience working on 5 Axis Machines will be beneficial but not essential as the company offer full training.

The CNC Machinist Role:

•          Operating and setting 5 axis machines.
•          Working with materials such as mild steel, aluminium and cast irons.
•          Working to high tolerances and completing initial quality checks.
•          The workshop includes also other varied machinery which there will be opportunities to be trained on.

The Successful CNC Machinist:

•          You will have previous experience of Milling or Turning, although milling is preferred.
•          You will have experience of setting machines.
