Commercial Pipe Fitter Welder

Strong Recruitment Group are acting on behalf of it's client who are looking for experienced Commercial Pipe Fitter Welders

Location: Various Projects in London & the South East
Contract: Permanent (PAYE)
Hours: 45 per week, Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm.
Salary: £24.00PH

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Installer/Pipe Fitter Welder to carry out heating and hot water installations in occupied commercial buildings and schools. The role requires high standards, efficiency, and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain site logs, attend inductions, and manage paperwork.
*

Install commercial boiler rooms, including boilers, pumps, and pipework (mild steel, copper, and stainless steel press-fit).
*

Work with pipe sizes ranging from 15mm to 150mm.
*

Interpret and install pipework from schematic drawings or independently.
*

Install radiators and fan convectors, including low surface temperature types.
*

Drain and refill heating systems, replacing faulty pipework and valves.
*

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
*

Resolve site issues and ensure materials are available to avoid delays.
*

Perform pre-fabrication and positional welding when required.

The ideal candidate will:

*

Have strong problem-solving skills and commercial heating installation experience.
*

Have experience in commercial buildings and schools.
*

Hold commercial gas ACS qualifications (preferred but not essential).
* Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary

Essential Qualifications/Skills

*

City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 Qualification.
*

Full UK Driving Licence.

The hourly rate on offer for this role is £24.00PH.
