Customer Services and Operations Assistant - Slough

Salary: up to £22,500 depending on experience

Hours: Mon- Fri, 9am-5.30pm

The company:

My client are a successful technology distribution business based in Slough, with a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Services and Operations Assistant to join their team.
The business has experienced rapid growth in recent years and are seeking a customer-focussed person to join their exciting business, to continue to be able to provide a 5-star service to their clients.

Roles and responsibilities of the Customer Services and Operations Assistant:

*Handling all inbound calls and dealing with various customer enquiries from destination and rate requests to line faults, payments, and billing queries.
*Handling all inbound calls from Retailers with regards to deliveries, products etc.
*Handling all inbound calls from Businesses with relation to their broadband service from order taking, set up to 1st line technical support.
*Responding to all customer emails, missed calls and voicemails in an efficient manner.
*Checking payments accurately to prevent credit card payment fraud in line with our anti-fraud procedure.
*Updating and maintaining daily and weekly call summaries, highlighting number of calls, nature of enquires and first call resolution by service.
*Dealing with all Order related issues (short orders, missing products, faulty products, delivery disputes, etc)
*Raising claims for all delivery disputes and missing orders post full investigation
*Chasing retailer refunds and issuing credit notes
*Dealing with all commission queries from retailers, including requests for more information, change of payment method, change in payable name, re-issue of commissions, etc
*Evaluating and completion of expenses claims for Sales teams (bimonthly).
*Provisioning Broadband services for Retailers/Other Business once sales orders have been placed (ensuring accuracy when setting up this service is vital to avoid disruption and dispute)
*Working in line with KPIs and SLAs that are set by the Manager.

Skills & experience required:

-Previous experience either in Customer Services, Sales, Operations, or Administration
- A patient, customer-focussed nature and good telephone manner
- IT literate with programmes such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, using a database etc.
- If you speak another language such as Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil or Bengali it would be advantageous but not essential
- Ideally based within a commutable distance to Slough as you will be based in the office

In return for your hard work:

- You will be paid a salary of up to £22,500 depending on experience
- You have the opportunity to earn bonus of an additional £2250 per year (10% of annual salary)
- You will get 33 days holiday including bank holidays
