JOB TITLE: Customer Support
LOCATION: Near Melton Mowbray
SALARY: £21000 - £23000 + Overtime
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 0800-1730 - 45 Hours Per week (5 days a week to include one alternate weekend day)
Our client is is one of the largest independent destination garden centres in the UK and is continually growing and developing in response to customer demand and market trends. They focus on offering the finest locally sourced produce, complemented by the best from national and international producers, as well as quality Beef and Lamb supplied from our own farm in the village.
They now have a team of around 200 people in a wide range of roles across Retail, Hospitality & Catering, Operations, eCommerce, Marketing and Administration. With an exciting range of new developments coming up they we are always looking for exceptional people to join the team.
We are looking for a highly motivated, engaging person who has a keen awareness of customer service to join our busy Customer Support Team. Reporting to the Sundries Manager you will have a practical approach, enjoy varied physical work and be a team player.
The key area of the job involves:
*Assisting customers with compost and heavy items around the site
*Moving stock around the site using trolleys and pallet moving equipment
*Sweeping, tidying and maintaining the garden centre to a high standard including resisting trolleys and baskets
*Processing stock and maintaining displays
*Picking and collating products ready for collection and delivery
The ideal candidate will be professional, well presented and have excellent customer service skills. Additionally, have an interest in gardening, a keen eye for detail, be accurate with figures and pricing and have a flexible approach in a busy retail environment. The successful applicant will be required to work on Sunday only each week.
