Electrical and Electronic Technician (Workshop Engineer) 

Haddenham 

£40,000 + 24 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension (matched at 4%) + Full Product Training + Healthcare Options + Onsite Sport Facilities 

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 

Electrical and Electronic Technician required for a growing supplier of lifting equipment and cranes. You will be joining a well-established company who have won awards recognising their commitment to great service, growth and technology. 

Candidates will need experience working with 12/24v DC systems and motors and will hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject. This role would suit candidates with experience working with plant, automotive or similar equipment, however candidates with transferable experience from any industry are encouraged to apply, as are ex-forces candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, calibrating and testing electrical safety systems on the company’s machinery prior to sale or hire. You will also be responsible for carrying out PDI inspections and tests for all incoming and outgoing machinery. 

Electrical and Electronic Technician Role: 

· Installation, calibration and testing of safety systems
· PDI inspections and testing before and after rental
· Diagnosing and rectifying faults
· Workshop based 

Electrical and Electronic Technician Candidate: 

· Experience with 12/24v DC
· Experience with motors
· Hold a level 2 (or equivalent) in engineering subject
· Any industry background
· Ex-forces candidates
