Electronic Engineer (R&D)

Electronic Engineer required for a market leading engineering company who are at the forefront of technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employee owned and focused company who are pioneering within biotechnology and are looking to grow.
The successful candidate will hold an electronics background and will have experience in product and process validation and verification. You can come from any industry background but will need experience designing PCBs, implementing Cobot solutions, working with sensors or motors, and have surface mount assembly experience. Graduates (or equivalent) with some industry experience are encouraged to apply.
The Electronic Engineer will work within the R&D department and will be involved in the development of new products. This will involve designing PCBs and producing prototype instruments. You will test the suitability of prototypes and oversee the build of pre-production batches of parts to analyse the build process to support the manufacturing team develop new processes. This will involve soldering, board programming and calibration.
Working with ISO9001 and 13485 standards, you will also work on supporting and developing existing processes as they become more automated, such as through the implementation or Cobots and robotics. You will identify any issues within the processes and develop corrective actions.
