Henderson Brown are proudly partnered with a market leading FMCG business who are looking to recruit a driven and motivated Engineering Team Leader to their tight knit and efficient engineering team based local to Spalding, Lincolnshire.

Our client is leader within their industry and have a sharp business focus on continuous improvement of both their site as well as their employees. The Team Leader role is vital in ensuring that the engineering operation runs smoothly and consistently by providing both electrical and mechanical preventative and reactive support as well as taking ownership of PPM schedules and engineering rotas.

Duties of the Engineering Team Leader:
*Respond and attend to breakdowns promptly and carry out accurate repairs to minimise downtime
*Carry out day to day preventative maintenance tasks
*Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding tasks
*Perform high quality root cause analysis for technical and process problems
*Involvement with creating and maintaining PPM schedules
*People management: management of the rota system
*Support and coach your engineering team in resolving technical issues
*Suggest and implement continuous improvement
*Be attentive with health and safety and follow safe working practices.

Experience required for the Engineering Team Leader:
*Previous engineering experience within an FMCG/manufacturing environment
*Mechanical and electrical skills with the relevant qualifications e.g., 18th Edition, HNC or NVQ
*Electrical bias would be hugely advantageous
*A team player who is solutions focused and enjoys improving processes
*Previous people management experience or a desire to step up and take on people responsibilities
*It is essential that candidates can work a 2's and 3's shift- days only
