Estimator (Engineering / Manufacturing) 

Burnley 

Our client manufactures engineered plastic components in their factory in Burnley. The business is currently expanding and has a vacancy for an Engineering Estimator. The business manufactures precision components for sectors including FMCG processing machinery, transport systems and bottling/canning processes. 

DOE + Profit Share Incentive + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Reward Scheme + Training Opportunities 

40 Hours per Week Monday to Friday – 14:30 Finish on Friday 

This role would suit an experienced estimator with experience in an engineering / manufacturing company. Experience with plastics would be strongly preferred. The successful candidate will ideally have an engineering background with a strong working knowledge of engineering processes and capabilities.

The Estimator will work within a small team responsible for efficient generation of quotes and costings from technical drawings to expected time frames.

 
The Estimator Role:

· Generating costs and quotations

· Reviewing engineering / technical drawings and specifications

· Customer Liaison & discussion

· Identification of manufacturing of costs

· Administering of quote to sales order process

 
The Estimator Candidate: 

· Experience in an estimating role

· Experience within engineering / manufacturing

· Ideally experience with plastics
