External System Engineer

Role: External Systems Engineer
Job Type: Contract

Capacity: 60-100%.


A leading public sector client is seeking an external Systems Engineer to support the business until the end of 2024, with likely extension past this point.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, install and coordinate server and storage solutions.
* Set up internal data centre services, including cloud solutions and internal infrastructure.
* Setup and maintain operation of collaboration solutions; Exchange OnPrem and Exchange Online, M365 and O365.
* Collaboration with Architects regarding concept development.

Requirements:

* Proven experience with the following: Windows Server, Cisco UCS, VMware vSphere & vCenter.
* Hybrid Cloud experience in preferred.
* Availability to support the team at short notice.
* Language requirement - Fluent German.
