Field Maintenance Engineer required for a very successful mechanical engineering company predominantly working within the power generation sector. The company are very employee focused, have excellent working practices and can offer progression.
To apply for the role you need to have maintenance experience within power generation. A formal qualification is preferred but not essential if the successful engineer can demonstrate the relevant experience. You need to have HSE experience within the power industry or similar environments. You also need to be confident managing contractors, stake holders etc.
The role involves working in power generation sector predominately in and around Edinburgh and Glasgow. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team to ensure safe delivery of the agreed work, ensure time scales are achieved and health and safety standards are met.

The Field Maintenance Role in Brief:
*Manage maintenance and call outs throughout the region
*Work closely and support the project team
*Ensure all H&S is adhered too
*Maintain strong client relationships
*Day to day management of the project
The Person Required:
*Maintenance experience within the power industry
*Ideally hold an HNC or similar
*Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with clients
*Experience leading contractors, labour, stakeholders etc
*Oversee the maintenance within the project in line with contractual terms
*Experience of HSE legislation
