Business Manager - Automation
Salary: c.£35K Basic, £45K OTE, Fully Expensed Car
Our client, a well established diverse engineering solutions company have been serving the manufacturing industry for sixty years. Due to their "can do attitude" they have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of both their service and, their most important component, the staff.
Due to an internal promotion they now require an additional BDM to join their successful external sales team you will be responsible for selling their automation/materials handling services which include;
*Plant, conveyors, materials handling and machine maintenance
*Commissioning of projects
*24/7 breakdown, repairs and replacement parts
*Welding & Sheet Metal Fabrication
To a wide variety of industries who require their materials handling/conveyors experience including;
*Food & beverage
This is a typical Business Development role so a mixture of lead generation, cold calling, gaining more business from existing accounts, visiting customers to assess their requirements & quote solutions, and general account management. Although you will be predominantly field based the nature of the role is that you will visit the office/factory most days.
Our client is looking for an exceptional sales applicant with the following qualities:
*B2B Sales background.
*Experience of developing existing business.
*Successful history in proactively winning new business and then assuming responsibility for managing it.
*Personality to thrive within an engineering/industrial environment.
*Experience within the Mechanical Engineering sector, ideally with knowledge of materials handling/conveyors
*Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
*Desire to develop their career.
