Fire Alarm Engineer
Strong Group Recruitment are working on behalf of its client who specializes in fire & security. They are currently looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team.
This can be on a long term contract basis, a temp to perm basis or a permanent basis
Start date: ASAP
Location: London and surrounds (Within the M25)
Fire Alarm Engineer is needed to complete installations AND/OR Maintenance / Commissioning on Fire Detection systems in both commercial and industrial premises
Responsibilities:
* Installing various fire alarm systems in both industrial and commercial premises
* Complete small and larger installations as part of a team or on your own.
* To ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the installation prior to leaving site
* Project a high level of quality customer services at all times, offering a personal approach, and maintaining/developing good relations with clients and colleagues.
* Taking an active part in the on-call system (1 in 7 Weeks)
Knowledge / Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience working with a variety of Fire Alarm Systems including addressable and conventional systems such as Apollo, Notifier, Ziton, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Apex, Gent, Vesda etc
* Understanding of BS5839-1 and the latest updates on the regulation is Essential
* FULL, clean UK driving licence - Preferred
* Up to date CSCS/ECS card
