Facilities Maintenance Electrician

Location: London (Hospital Site)

Contract Length: 2-Year Contract

Shift Pattern: 11:00am - 7:00pm (Days)

Rate: £26-£28 per hour

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established team in London on a 2-year contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious electrician with strong maintenance experience in critical environments.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the hospital estate, ensuring compliance, safety, and continuity of essential services.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs across the hospital
*

Fault finding and repair on a range of building services and electrical systems
*

Support compliance checks, documentation, and statutory testing requirements
*

Work alongside the wider engineering and FM team to ensure smooth site operations
*

Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with hospital policies and procedures
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism in a patient-facing environment

Requirements

*

18th Edition (BS7671)
*

Proven experience as a maintenance electrician (ideally in healthcare, commercial, or public sector buildings)
*

Strong fault-finding ability and competent in delivering reactive works
*

Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Own tools, PPE & transport
* Valid CSCS / ECS
