General Operative (Manufacturing/Production)

Competitive Salary (DOE) + Pension + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Double days, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating.

General Operative required for a specialised manufacturer of construction products. The employer has a new facility and is looking to build a new team.

The Successful General Operative will come from a hands on background, will be highly motivated and willing to learn new skills. Those with previous experience of working in a technical role, manufacturing or machine operating will be at a significant advantage.

The General Operative Role:

* Following company SOP’s and Health & Safety requirements.
* Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure transfer of information with regard to your role.
* Communicate with Shift coordinators and Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues in your designated area.
* Operating of production machinery.
* Ensure production data is recorded properly.
* Housekeeping of work areas.
* Ensure any production waste is discard in the correct manner.

The Successful General Operative:
