Graduate Laboratory Technician (Materials)
Circa £25,000 DOE + Pension + Holiday + Relocation Package + Flexitime
Graduate Laboratory Technician required for an innovative company who are currently researching, designing and developing a range of new energy storage materials. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lab Technician looking for a new, exciting role within a fast-growing R&D company.
To apply for this role, you will hold a degree (or equivalent and/or hold equivalent industry experience) in a relevant subject, such as physics, chemistry and/or material science. You will have experience working within a research laboratory and be able to demonstrate the ability to adhere to defined procedures and protocols.
The successful Graduate Laboratory Technician will work within a small team, supporting the company’s Battery Scientists in creating and screening new materials. This will involve performing laboratory experimental work towards the synthesis of materials and manufacture of prototype cells.
You should have a solid understanding of COSHH and will be responsible for the general upkeep of the laboratory, including the calibration of equipment and stock management.
