Henderson Brown is proud to be exclusively partnered with one of the UK's top agricultural dealerships, who are recruiting for a Grounds Care Service Engineer to join their team in Newmarket. You will be responsible for providing both workshop and field engineering support to their portfolio of loyal customers across Suffolk.

Naturally over recent years the company have diversified their machinery and equipment offering which now proudly includes big name brands in the Grounds Care market.
The Grounds Care Service Engineer role is a vital position within the engineering team and will require you to troubleshoot, repair and service both older and new grounds care equipment and machinery such as ride on and domestic mowers, gators and compact tractors.
Successful candidates will have mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge and skills and be technically minded with a great ability to problem solve.
Duties of the Grounds Care Engineer include:
*Performing diagnostics and repairs on various grounds care equipment and machinery
*Carry out servicing
*Completing all pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment.
*Develop your skills and partake in training to develop skills and knowledge including new products and services offered by the manufacturers.
*Mentoring apprentices and trainee as required
*Your time will be mainly split 50% in the field and 50% in the workshop
*Previous engineering experience within the grounds care sector or similar sector e.g., plant
*Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills
*Relevant qualifications or time served
*Good customer relationship skills
*Full UK driving license is essential
