Job Title: Groundworks Project/Site Manager
Location: Based in Ealing, Projects across London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Ealing, delivering a wide range of projects across London and the surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of work and a solid reputation for quality and reliability, they are seeking an experienced Project/Site Manager to join their growing team.
Role Overview
As a Groundworks Project/Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing groundworks and temporary installation works on projects typically valued up to £2 million. You'll be responsible for ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of site delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage daily site operations for groundworks and temporary installation projects
*Oversee project planning, execution, and close-out, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
*Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
*Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company policies
*Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress reports
*Manage site staff and subcontractors, including scheduling, performance, and resourcing
*Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets and variations
*Problem-solve on-site issues to maintain progress and quality
Requirements
*Proven experience managing groundworks or civil engineering projects
*Strong understanding of temporary works and their installation
*Excellent organisational and leadership skills
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
*Full UK driving licence
*SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certification
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
