HR Business Partner

Salary up to £45K DOE
Are you a talented HR Business Partner who is passionate about building a culture in which everyone can thrive. This person will work closely with heads of function and people managers providing both strategic and operational HR support, enabling continuous improvement is achieved.
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing effective day-to-day support across a variety of topics, including engagement & culture change, talent development, succession planning, performance management, retention, compensation/rewards, and organisational design. This is a highly collaborative role working across all business functions of this financial services company.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will be a key member of the People team working alongside the existing team of 9.
*Build credible and strong relationships with people managers, providing guidance and support to enable their people plans
*Act as a trusted advisor and expert, demonstrating sound knowledge across all areas of the employee life cycle.
*Develop, coach and challenge managers to achieve operational excellence through development of our people
*Work with the HR calendar to manage and ensure smooth delivery of talent assessments, succession planning, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives and our reward cycle.
*Recommend proactive solutions on areas such as employee engagement, performance management, absence management and attrition
*Promote diversity and inclusion as part of the culture of the organisation
*Support organisation design and transformational activity through a strong change management approach.
Skills & Experience
*Strong generalist HR background with solid experience in business partnering
*Evidence of developing strong stakeholder relationships through a consultative and inclusive approach to become a trusted partner.
*The ability to coach and influence managers at all levels of the organisation, helping to think through the challenges in the business to find innovative and creative solutions
*Experience in organisation design and development including implementation from a legal and change management perspective
*Ability to interpret and implement legislation changes
*Ability to develop clear action plans and drive continuous improvement
*Practical and logical; able to solve complex problems
*The ability to work with discretion at all times
