A very successful consultancy in the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester is seeking an Junior - Mid level Full Stack Developer to join a thriving IT development team.
Set up in 2002, this company now has a multitude of offices across the world, but their IT function is run out of their Manchester head office. There is an established team in place across Dev and Operations, however now they are now looking for a mid - senior level full stack .NET developer who can come in with some experience with large estates and driving architecture.
The organisation are a leader in their industry, so an excellent package and benefits structure is standard for them. You can expect regular work from home (permanently 2 days a week), enhanced pension, between 5-10% bonus depending on your banding, private medical and dental cover and a genuinely fun and sociable team environment. There are regular social outings organised and the team culture is truly collaborative.
There are some really interesting projects occurring at the moment. The company are in a very good place with cloud technologies (Azure) and they are revamping and rebuilding their entire analytics suite. They are migrating data infrastructure to the cloud and using Azure Data Factory to integrate systems. There is also a huge project which involves integrating with banks for payroll purposes, so there are a lot of very cool projects to get stuck into!
General skills that would be really useful:
1-2 years commercial experience as a .NET Developer
.NET Core / ASP.NET
Desire to learn and develop your skills in a collaborative Agile environment
Strong communication skills
This company is a young business with a dynamic environment that would suit a junior - mid level developer with a keen interest in leading edge technology services, an ability to adapt to the changing demands of an agile business. There is defined career progression at this company, so the junior - mid level developer could see themselves in a senior position within a year - 18 months.
