Circa £14.62 PH DOE + Overtime (1.5x Saturday, 2 x Sunday) + Increasing Holidays Up To 25 + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Call Out

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30

Maintenance Technician required for a well established and successful manufacturer based in the Cullompton area. Founded over 200 years ago, this company can offer long term job security.

To apply for this role you will be confident with mechanical maintenance and repair and can come from any background. Candidates with welding and fabrication experience will hold a considerable advantage but this is not essential as the company can offer internal training on this.

The successful candidate will work within a team carrying out maintenance on a range of equipment. The company are dedicated to preventative maintenance and one week in four is dedicated completely to this. You will work with hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure systems, bearings and gears.

A lot of the equipment in this role is no longer in manufacture so you will also be responsible for creating replacement parts. Fabrication experience is hugely advantageous but the company can offer internal training on this.

The company has a call out rota in place which will require the successful candidate to be on call for one of the four weeks per month. As the company operate on a 24/7 basis, for any weekend work you do you will be paid at premium rates which can hugely increase your overall earnings.
