Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 4 days per week in the London office)
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Estimator to join a busy pre-construction team based in London. This is a growth position due to an increasing workload across commercial and mission-critical projects.

The role will focus on preparing mechanical estimates and working closely with electrical estimators, engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare mechanical take-offs and cost estimates
*

Review tender documentation and identify scope, risks and opportunities
*

Price mechanical building services packages (HVAC, plant, pipework, public health where applicable)
*

Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
*

Produce tender clarifications, exclusions and assumptions
*

Support tender reviews and pre-construction meetings
*

Assist with handover to project delivery teams

Typical project values: £1m - £30m MEP

Salary & Package

*

£60,000 - £80,000 basic, depending on experience
*

Pension, travel and benefits dependent on candidate

Requirements

*

Experience as a Mechanical Estimator within MEP / building services
*

Commercial project experience preferred
*

Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems
*

Stable employment history

Interview Process
