The Role

An established building services contractor is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing delivery team. The role is office-based and will involve managing multiple mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Projects range in value from £5k to £2.5m, with a maximum combined project value of £4.5m.

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical projects from initial planning through to handover
*

Oversee HVAC, LTHW/CHW, pipework, plant and associated mechanical systems
*

Control project programmes, budgets, and procurement
*

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
*

Ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget
*

Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
*

Manage variations, cost reporting, and progress updates
*

Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services
*

Experience delivering projects up to £2.5m in value
*

Strong organisational and commercial skills
*

Comfortable managing multiple live projects
*

Office-based mindset (no hybrid/remote)
*

Must live in the Midlands and be within a reasonable commute to the office
