Mechanical Technician (Motor Vehicle/Forklifts/Workshop)

Rotating Weekly Work Pattern - 6am to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 11pm Monday to Friday

Up to £36,000 to £40,000 Starting Salary

Mechanical Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This role will suit motor vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry as the company will fully train.

The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, motor vehicle or similar equipment. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

The company are a manufacturer of forklift trucks. Part of a team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment.

The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief:

*Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery primarily on one site in Solihull.

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

*Plenty of overtime if desired

The Person Required:

*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable

*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills

*Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
