8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday & Friday 4pm

Mechanical Technician role available in a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks.  Excellent training on the fleet of products. 

This would be an ideal move for Vehicle Technicians looking to move into a new industry. Other backgrounds such as rail, plant, forces or similar will also be suitable.

Based at a client’s site, you’ll be responsible for carrying out service and repairs on a range of forklifts.  You’ll order any spares when needed and communicate progress.  The role comes with a van for support to the mobile engineers; you can use the van for personal use.

The Mechanical Technician role in brief:
·         Carry out PDI’s, service and repair work on a range of forklift trucks.
·         Order spares when necessary.

The Person Required:
·         Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
·         Excellent communication skills
·         IT literate
·         Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
