Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading pensions consultancy seeking a part or qualified Pensions Actuary to join their LGPS team in Glasgow.

Within this role you will be an advisor to a portfolio of LGPS clients. You will be responsible for delivering high quality, expert actuarial advice employing strategic and innovative solutions. You will develop new business with an active involvement in client prospecting, relationship building and new business pitches.

Role requirements:

* FIA qualified actuary or making good progress towards actuarial exams
* Strong DB pensions knowledge
* Ideally public sector/LGPS experience but will also consider private sector client experience looking to specialise
