My client, an industry leading provider for HR and Payroll services into the education sector is looking for talented and ambitions payroll administrators to join their busy team. You will be joining a team that prides itself on the standard of or service it provides and consistently strives to achieve more.
Whilst payroll experience is extremely advantageous, the business will consider driven and resilient individuals with experience working under pressure with high volumes of transactions. Attention to detail is key, as is maintaining excellent customer service.
Full training is provided and for successful individuals this can include CIPP qualifications. The business also provides a list of benefits which currently include some agile working.
*Manage a portfolio of clients on all aspects of payroll (start-finish), consisting of multiple monthly pay dates and differing terms and conditions across employers.
*Accurately input payroll data, balance reports and dispatch payrolls to schools, meeting required audit checks.
*Process various statutory forms for example: P45s, Starter Declarations, Student Loans, P60, and P11d's. Comply with the requirements for Auto Enrolment and Real Time Information.
*Manually calculate salary changes where necessary, including back pay, overpayments, leavers, annual leave and other ad hoc manual payments.
*Apply statutory provisions including, PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, Student loans and Attachment to Earnings Orders.
*Process data, edit, revise and print letters, tables, reports and other materials as appropriate.
*5 GCSE's grade A-C
*Ability to establish good working relationships and gain credibility with a range of customers.
*Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
*Good ICT skills including use of Microsoft Office.
*Ability to demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy.
The role is Monday to Friday business working hours, however there will need to be some flexibility during peak periods.
