We are recognised as a leading practitioner in two main business areas:

  • Financial planning-led private client advice
  • Workplace pension and employee benefit advice in the independent schools sector

Our offices are in Totnes, Devon, however we facilitate flexible/remote working. Our clients are located across the UK.

The salary will be competitive and is negotiable, depending on your skills, qualifications and relevant experience. An annual bonus is also payable, conditional on meeting personal and business objectives.

About the role:

The purpose of the role is to provide an outstanding service to our clients and support the delivery of high-quality pension and other related advice.

Your role will initially be focused in the independent schools sector, where we are recognised as a leading pension and employee benefits consultancy. Your responsibilities will include working with our existing client base to deliver a range of services, including: on-site pension presentations; 1:1 financial guidance meetings with both teaching and operational staff; the preparation of annual and lifetime allowance analysis for head teachers and other senior staff; research and report preparation for group DC scheme reviews; and group risk/voluntary employee benefit consultancy support.

 About you:

You are able to work under pressure and take ownership of tasks, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.

You have excellent attention to detail in both written and analytical work.

You have outstanding people skills, a positive attitude and want to work collaboratively, taking a team-based approach to financial planning.

You are always professional, ethical and discreet.

 

Requirements:

Full RDR qualification (holder of the CISI investment advice qualification, CII Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent).

Commitment to attain Chartered Financial Planner and/or Chartered Wealth Manager status within 3 years.

At least 3-5 years’ financial services experience and preferably educated to degree level.
