Job Title: Personnel Assistant/Admin Officer
Salary:£21-24,000 per annum DOE
Hours of work: 30 - 37.5 hrs per week, worked 4-5 days (to suit) Some work from home if desired.
Notionally two-thirds of work as personnel assistant and one third as admin officer with responsibility to the CEO.

Our client is an established and successful Milton Keyes based charity specifically set up to address the needs of a "lost generation" of 15-25-year-olds, with learning disabilities, mental health & emotional issues, young people leaving care and those at risk of exploitation/offending.
This role will directly support the CEO in driving the Charity's development, growth and sustainability in ways that are relevant and in line with our Charitable Objectives and Business Planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop an exciting and ambitious new charity and grow your own experience, personal development and skill set. Available hours may be increased by agreement as the charity grows.
*Staff admin including recruitment, interview and referencing processes, reference checking, DBS clearances and to take responsibility for quality control around personnel processes.
*To ensure our MS Dynamics database is up to date as regards staff details, and support team communications including via Teams and Sharepoint.
*Specific tasks as allocated by the CEO - calendar and diary organisation etc.
*Take a key role in the processes supporting staff development, including training needs analysis and training provision.
*Run the Breathe HR platform, supported by the CEO and Admin manager.
*Liaise with the accounts officer as regards payroll and expenses and provide support for banking and petty cash administration.
*Establish and develop good relationships with other charities and agencies to increase partnership and effective joint working where appropriate.
*Be a point of contact for basic staff issues and provide any other office administration as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Great organisational and administrative skills, self-motivated and capable.
*Awareness and understanding of the needs, issues, and concerns of vulnerable young people.
*Able to write reports and assist with policy development.
*Can support and, where necessary, challenge staff around issues for which responsible.
*Good knowledge of social media, preferably organisationally.
*Good experience of database and record systems and IT platforms.
*Good IT competence with good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Publisher. Teams and Sharepoint helpful but training will be given.

*A driver with no more than three points on licence with access to own vehicle
*Experience in a charity.
*Personnel or volunteer management experience
*Experience of Breathe HR and MS Dynamics, Teams and Sharepoint.
*Experience around planning for internal events, team days etc.
