Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading life and pensions insurer seeking a qualified BPA pricing and underwriting actuary to join their office in Buckinghamshire

As a senior member of the Actuarial team you will develop and maintain pricing bases and pricing models for the annuity business, including bulk annuities. You will support on business development activities and relationship management with your understanding of the DB buy-in/buyout market.

Role requirements:

* FIA qualified
* Strong knowledge of UK DB Pensions and reinsurance structures
* Understanding of the DB buy-in/buyout market with a background in pensions or a similar role with an insurer

This is a prime opportunity for a pensions actuary to step into insurance, or for an established pricing actuary to step into a senior role in a growing team. This business offers generous bonuses, often above market rate.
