Production Technician (Manufacturing Quality)

Production Technician required for a well-established, people focused company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a production, quality or continuous improvement background to work on industry leading technology in the media industry.

This role will suit candidates from any manufacturing background. Candidates with hands on production experience, continuous improvement experience and/or a quality engineering background will be suitable. Candidates only need experience in one of these areas to apply but experience in other roles would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will work within a varied role focused on building quality into continuous improvement processes. You will be involved in introducing lean manufacturing techniques into production and advise on production line layouts to improve efficiency. On the quality side, you will analyse data on quality issues, support audits and put into place countermeasures to support continuous improvement. Candidates with hands on experience can expect to operate various production machinery as well as solder components to PCBs.
