An established Manufacturer who sells their construction products globally, is currently looking to strengthen their quality team by the recruitment of a Quality Technician.



You will be supporting the Quality Manager in all aspects of quality within the factory, ensuring that products produced are developed in line with specification



On a day to day basic you will :

* Plan and carry out internal audits

* Undertake internal inspections on a daily basis

* Assist with external audits within the group and on client sites

* Undertake required projects to improve product quality, processes or records

* Liaise with Specialists and fulfil inspection requirements to ensure t despatch of product

* Segregate, quarantine, and completion of documentation for non-conformances

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of process and to the meeting of objectives



The Ideal person for this role will have:

* Understanding of up to date quality tools and measures

* Ability to carry out internal and external audits

* Excellent IT skills and comfortable with updating and maintaining systems

* Good observation and attention to detail essential

* Excellent problem solving skills

* Strong organisational and decision-making skills

* Good communication and persuasion skills in both verbal and written formats,

* Can demonstrate methodical working ethic
