This an opportunity to be part of a team which over-see's and supports the growth ambitions of the UK Life Branch. The team is responsible for the valuation of the UK's Longevity, Protection and Structured reinsurance, actively involved in the management of a large book of in-force business, the take-on of new business, as well as basis review work. Therefore the successful candidate should be open to and has the opportunity to get exposure to all business lines depending on preference.
The delivery of the IFRS and Solvency II year-end results which includes:
* Planning and co-ordinating deliverables as well as liaising with other departments to ensure results are produced by set deadlines
* Checking, reviewing and supporting the analysis of results
* Reviewing and implementing changes to assumptions
* Ensuring consistency between IFRS and SII reporting
You will be a Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary with 0-3 years PQE
