Risk Manager

We're looking for an experienced Risk professional to join a leading global insurer as an Risk Manager.

This role is with a global insurance group with offices across the UK, US, and Asia-Pacific. The business underwrites a broad and diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments, assessing potential business impacts.
*

Lead and facilitate risk assessments, including deep dives into key areas.
*

Report and analyse risk information to support informed decision-making.
*

Track and investigate risk events and incidents, supporting root cause analysis and control improvements.
*

Support the completion of internal and regulatory risk reports, including the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
*

Be a key user of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system, ensuring it remains the central, reliable source of risk data.
*

Provide expert risk advice and guidance across the business, fostering a strong risk culture.
*

Collaborate with the Capital Modelling team on the continued enhancement of the Internal Model.

Your Experience & Skills

*

Previous experience as a Risk Manager or Senior Risk Analyst in the insurance industry.
*

Strong understanding of the London market is preferred.
*

Professional qualifications in Risk Management or Insurance (e.g., CII) are desirable.
*

Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
*

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
*

Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative in approach.
