A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who has sold capital equipment or technical solutions to Engineering Managers working in the food manufacturing & processing industry. You will be working for a well-established manufacturer of turnkey engineering & building solutions where success will lead to prospects to a key account management role in the short term.
BASIC SALARY: up to £50,000
· OTE is £10,000 in year one but open ended
· Mercedes Company Car
LOCATION: Covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Bedfordshire you will be office based 2 to 3 days a week and ideally will live in the centre of the territory
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Peterborough, Cambridge, Huntingdon, March, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Stamford

A classic territory Sales Manager role covering East Anglia with a brief to develop new business with both existing & new known clients in the food industry and a very realistic first year target of £1million T/O and order value range of up to £250,000
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : capital equipment / technical solutions - food industry
· You MUST have a proven track record in field/external sales of either capital equipment or a technical solution selling to engineering managers in the food manufacturing & processing industries.
· A working knowledge of internal &/or external building & fit out works &/or M & E works within the food manufacturing sector would be very desirable.
· You WILL be articulate, ambitious and able & willing to generate new business
·Any engineering or technical background would be advantageous but not essential
A very well-established & profitable manufacturer & provider of fully integrated turnkey technical solutions including consultancy & design, building & construction, factory refurbishment plus mechanical & electrical services sold to the food manufacturing & processing industries.
Are excellent and success in this role will result in a move into a Key Account management role in 2 to 3 years. The last person I placed in this role was promoted within two years.
