BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000
· £60,000 OTE but uncapped!

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer : valves & pumps
We're a leading supplier of valves and flow control products / solutions mainly to the HVAC, plant room and heat transfer environments.
Initially, you'll be responsible for continuing our sales growth plans and for developing our sales pipeline, to increase the volume of current sales by 30%-50% over the next couple of years. You'll be the driving force and major influence in where and how we grow our client base, throughout the UK.
Your key market sector targets will be:
· Hospitals & Health Care
· Paper & Pulp
· Food & Beverage
· Water & Waste
· Steam & Condensate
· Energy & Power
As you develop sales and the sales process you'll take ownership of the full sales function, including the recruitment, development and building of a strong external sales team, with a view to continuing to grow market share throughout the UK. As a result the role will start out mainly 'on the road', becoming more office based as the sales / team grow and develop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer : valves & pumps
You'll be responsible for all aspects of the sale, from lead generation, site surveys and quotes that win new business, through to ongoing account management and upsell / cross-sell of additional products and services.
The whole of the UK will be your territory and you'll have the autonomy to create and deliver your sales plan to ensure maximum return on investment.
It's likely that you'll be in the office 1 day a week with the remaining 4 spent meeting clients.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer : valves & pumps
To become our Sales Manager it's essential that you have a proven sales track record from within the HVAC and / or industrial heat & power, plant rooms, steam systems, heat transfer or control & process valve sectors.
· You'll be familiar with conducting site surveys and to specifying solutions.
· You'll demonstrate a consultative approach to sales, showing your ability to identify site issues and engage with decision-makers at all levels.
· An appreciation of pumps, heat exchangers and secondary water loops would be a distinct advantage.
This position is extremely important to the development of our business. We're seeking an individual who loves to develop and grow business and remember, your success WILL lead into a senior leadership role.
