An established financial services establishment in Central Derby are going through a large transformation around their applications are looking to grow the current squad by hiring a Senior / Lead Product Owner or Business Analyst with strong experience of Stakeholder management and team management. My client don't mind what industry the selected hire comes from, but as long as you have managed and owned software products and have strong stakeholder engagement skills, we want to hear from you!

The business recognises the huge impact that the modern digital era, particularly new fin-tech businesses, are having on the world of financial services and is seeking a Lead Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst with a keen interest in new technologies, the enthusiasm to grasp these changes, and the energy to drive development of new systems and services.
What your role will look like:
*Line Management of Junior through to Senior UX Engineers and Product Owners, covering Training, Performance Management, Development Plans and day to day support
*Management of the Backlog, Requirements and Ceremonies for multiple Platform Development squads with varying capabilities, velocity and focus (in both Scrum & Kanban)
*Leading the Product Team's direction and focus by driving prioritisation of project work throughout stages of the SDLC
*Working with key stakeholders to provide knowledge and ongoing updates about Product Development, Solutions and Designs, and Projects which are being considered for implementation
*Delivering Sprint Reviews and Planning Outcomes to the IT Team and Business stakeholders
*Leading and Supporting Backlog Refinement sessions in which technical and business project leads collaborate on Prioritisation, Scoping and Acceptance Criteria
*Responsible for the production of Release Notes for all software releases
*Handling Product Change Requests from Stakeholders and Clients, and managing these through to delivery
*Leading recruitment for hires within the Product Team
It will also include...
*Develop and maintaining an appropriately prioritised backlog of user stories for implementation (utilising Jira Structures, JQL, Confluence and AIO Reports)
*Document business requirements using RTMs, Confluence and User Journey Flows
*Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally
*Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful releases
*Work with the department and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for development cycles
*Develop appropriately technically detailed acceptance criteria for user stories, tasks and features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
*Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
