Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week – Flexible Working Hours

Senior Firmware Engineer required for a market leading engineering company who are at the forefront of technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employee owned and focused company who are pioneering within biotechnology and brewing industry markets as they expand their product portfolio.

To apply for this role, you will need experience working in a firmware or embedded software development role. You will need experience working with C/C++ programming and will have familiarity with microcontroller architectures. You will hold an understanding of software development lifecycle, including testing and debugging and will hold a degree (or equivalent) in electronics, computer science, or similar.

Working in a team of 4-5, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing and optimisation of embedded software solutions for new and existing products.

The Senior Firmware Engineer Role:

· Design and implement firmware for embedded software
· Develop, execute and maintain test procedures
· Profile and optimise firmware performance, memory, and power consumption
· Collaborate with hardware engineer for integration with electronic components
· Offer guidance to junior engineers

The Senior Firmware Engineer Candidate:

· Experience in firmware or embedded software development
· Degree (or equivalent) in electronics, computer science, or similar
· C / C++ programming
