Senior Highways Design Engineer required for a market leading consultancy who specialise in Transport Planning and Highways Design due to continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company who work on a wide range of projects in both the private and public sectors. This company are truly committed to staff development, and you will truly play an integral role within the team. 

Candidates will need experience within a similar role and will hold experience in a range of highway designs. 

The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of 25 during an exciting period of growth as they have recently won a huge project of new work. You will be responsible for working on the designs for a range of projects to ensure timely delivery and ensure high-quality designs meet client and budget requirements. 

The Senior Highways Design Engineer Role: 

·         Ensure designs are delivered to requirements and within budget
·         Allocate resources and prioritise tasks
·         Preparation of project budgets
·         Act as a key point of contact for clients and other partners throughout project lifecycle
·         Mentor junior staff members
 
Senior Highways Design Engineer Candidate:
 
·         Experience of working on Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects or similar
·         Knowledge of both highways and drainage
·         Experience using a Civils 3D CAD package
·         Experience managing development of contract documents
