I am seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager at Senior Project Surveyor level to join an international firm of consultants in the City of London area.
You will join a large team working on high value projects in the commercial, residential and education sectors for a variety of clients in the private and public sectors.
This is an exciting role working on high value and sometimes landmark construction projects.
You will work as a Senior Project Surveyor / Cost Manager and be able to run your own large scale projects or run multiple projects with key clients.
You will be able to develop strong relationships with clients and members of your team.
You will be involved in all pre and post contract duties including pre-contract estimating, procurement, contract administration, cost reporting, final account resolution etc.
My client is an international firm with a large office in the city of London with over 100 cost managers in their London office.
You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager who has a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or similar subject and be keen to move up to Senior level or you may already be at Senior level and keen to have a change of company.
You will ideally be MRICS qualified.
You should be working for another firm of construction consultants / PQS and have a stable work record.
You should have excellent communication skills and be keen to work as part of a dynamic team.
You need to be experience in both pre and post contract work, to make sure that the projects remains on budget from design to completion. You will be able to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk.
You should also be able to support more junior members of the team.
You should be able to build and maintain relationships with clients.
You have good computer literacy.
Salary is very from c. £45000 to around £70000 per annum according to experience plus pension, medical insurance, life assurance, professional fees and flexible working.
